Teen Therapy:

When you know your teen is struggling-but you're not sure how to help.

Maybe they're more anxious, angry, withdrawn, emotional, or overwhelmed than they used to be.

School has become stressful. Friendships are complicated. Their confidence has changed. Every conversation seems to become an argument—or they simply stop talking.

As a parent, it can be difficult to know when something is a normal part of growing up and when your teen needs additional support.

You don't have to figure that out alone.

A place where teens can talk without feeling judged.

Being a teenager can be hard.

Expectations are coming from everywhere—school, friends, family, sports, social media, relationships, and sometimes from themselves.

Therapy gives teens a space to slow down and talk honestly about what's happening.

We may work on:

  • Anxiety and worrying

  • School stress

  • Emotional regulation

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Friendships

  • Family conflict

  • Communication

  • Life changes

  • Coping skills

  • Identity and growing independence

  • Feeling overwhelmed

Therapy isn't about telling your teen what's wrong with them.

It's about helping them better understand themselves. Sometimes understanding the "why" behind a reaction, emotion, or behavior can help a teen feel less confused by what they're experiencing—and more capable of handling it differently.

Together, we'll work on recognizing emotions, understanding reactions, developing coping skills, communicating more effectively, building confidence, and learning practical tools they can use outside of therapy.

For Parents:

It can be incredibly difficult to watch your child struggle.

You may be wondering:

  • Should I push them to talk or give them space?

  • Is this normal teenage behavior or something more?

  • Why can they talk to everyone except me?

  • What am I supposed to do when nothing seems to help?

Supporting a teen sometimes means giving them another safe adult who can listen, help them understand what they're experiencing, and teach them skills for managing it.

The goal isn't to replace your relationship with your teen.

It's to help strengthen the support around them.
